The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) showcases all kinds of art on the Moorilla winery on the Berriedale peninsula in Hobart. It is the largest privately funded museum in Australia. The museum is a funky mix of antiquities, modern and contemporary art from the David Walsh collection. Walsh has described the museum as a "subversive adult Disneyland."

Directions

Mona is located 11 km north of Hobart. Approximately 25 minutes by ferry or 20 minutes by road. Book your MR-1 Fast Ferry (or Posh Pit) on the Mona website.
