Khndzoresk Cave village are estimated to date back over 1000 years. Combining natural and man made caves used to create houses 20 - 30m high from the ground, and 4 churches. Although the population isn't what it once was it's still a inhabited village.

Directions

The village is located to the right of Goris - Stepanavan highway, on the steep slopes of Khor Dzor (Deep Gorge), from which, according to tradition, it got its name. Crossing the bridge at the entrance of the village, the road continues towards the towns of Lachin and Stepanakert.
