The height of the peak makes it an excellent viewpoint surrounded by abundant vegetation and with beautiful panoramic views of the rest of the Pyrenees.

Directions

The start of the walk is on the Prats Sobirans forest path following the GR 11 (Camí de Comapedrosa). Climb to the Comapedrosa pass, crossing the Pla de l’Estany rivers. Without leaving the GR 11, we come to the Comapedrosa guarded mountain hut.

Things to Note & Policies

The best time to climb the Pic del Comapedrosa is from the end of May to October, both because of the access and because of the spring and autumn colours of the natural surroundings.
