About

These underground tunnels were put to good use during the booze prohibition in the early 1900's. Corrupt city officials, police and even the mayor's office were making the most of one of the worst laws ever introduced to the United States and these tunnels were the back bone of their operation.

Directions

Things to Note & Policies

To get to the Underground Tunnels of Los Angeles, you must go to the Hall of Records building at the Civic Centre of downtown LA. From Temple Street wander around the back of the building and keep an eye out for an elevator. It's kinda tricky to see. That elevator is your ticket to LA's underground. But bear in mind, these tunnels are off limits to the public!
